Shawsey is raising £10,000 to help get a bus kitted out as a mobile classroom and changing room for the kids from the slums of Nairobi. He visited the work that the Atlas Foundation funds in Kenya in January 2019. He was born in Nairobi and lived there until he was ten. He hadn't been back since.
The conditions that these children live in, the number that die (50%) as children, shocked him to the core. He saw the work that goes on with 450 children every week through the Atlas Foundation and its partner on the ground, the KRDA. They play rugby and get a hot meal and clean water once a week.
By giving them a bus kitted out as a classroom, and funding a full time teacher, we give them transport so they don't have to walk 5 miles to the pitches, but also an education.
Please help Shawsey get this bus to these kids.
