Matt Ratana lost his life in the line of duty, dedicating his life to helping others. An amazing police officer and fabulous coach at East Grinstead RFC and many other clubs as a player throughout his career.

He spent so much time dedicating his time to our clubs and players as well as fighting crime and making our streets safer.

Making sure everyone who crossed his path was ok and supported in both work and rugby.

Losing him left behind a club who has been enthused to fulfil his vision.

The aim of the 28th August game at the London Irish ground, one of Matt’s previous rugby homes, is where both of Matt’s passions will collide. With the MRRF Vixens going head to head with the Police Women XV.

A great day to remember Matt and his passions for rugby and life.
