The Atlas Foundation was founded by Jason Leonard to bring positive change to children around the world through the power of the game. From Argentina to Zimbabwe children from the poorest shanty towns and slums are given food, education and training, alongside the joy of playing rugby. Through this the kids they work with are learning and growing. They learn more, they stay away from drugs and crime, they become young leaders. In time they find jobs and become fine adults giving back to the next generation of children. 2019 is their fourth year of operation. They now reach over 37,000 children in 20 projects in 15 countries, 21,000 on a continuous basis. We'd like to help make a difference.

To help with this cause, on the 2nd of June 2019, the London Stock Exchange will again participate in Atlas’ Tour of Cambridge cycling challenge. Last year over £7,000 was raised but this year the Exchange is aiming to beat that great sum of money raised and are aiming to raise £10,000. To do this the LSEG riders will attempt to complete a 1,000 mile challenge where every rider does their bit on the road, in the hope that collectively we reach the 1,000 mile milestone that weekend. All we ask is that you help us do our bit in raising the funds off the road by donating.

The LSEG peloton includes: Ricardi Carvalho, Ibukun Adebayo, Phil Penhaligan, Neil Baker, Tony, Smith, Sabine Putane, Neil Blewitt, Kelly Perry, Brian Janganant, Ava Lau, Lee Lavery and Mike O'Donovan.
