The Atlas All Schools Programme South Africa focuses on a number of grassroots, community projects. These are based at Masiphumelele High School, Ocean View High School and Gauteng. The All Schools programme is now in its third year at Masiphumelele High, where Atlas have instilled a rugby coaching programme and provided rugby posts for the children to continue practicing and enjoying rugby. During the lockdown, our coaches mentored young children in the community, keeping them active and engaged with our work. Ocean View is an area with a high crime rate and it has taken time for Atlas to build trust with the community. We hold regular coaching sessions, provide kit and have recently handed over a stunning new pitch and posts, the first ones in the community. The All Schools programme in Gauteng works with 36 primary and 36 secondary schools in and around Johannesburg. The children learn the game of rugby alongside life skills sessions, giving them the skills they need to thrive in later life. During the pandemic, Atlas gave out masks, sanitation items and food vouchers to our children.

The All Schools Programme in South Africa has helped over 65 children, giving them the opportunity to learn and develop in a safe environment.
