We are keen to continue the great work of the Richmond Heavies Foundation which we have already benefited from. Through the foundation we both were able to receive free heart screening as have many of the Richmond Rugby Club Community. In order to continue this service we need to continue raising funds whilst doing something that will hopefully be fun and not too painful on our bottoms! We are participating in the Ride London 100 on 4th August 2019. We have a collective target of under 11 hours
Jungle Crows Fund resources

Rugby Family Pulls Together

Tragically Atlas's Singapore event manager, Anita Nicholson, was killed along with her rugby-mad children Alex and Annabel in the Sri Lanka bombings on Easter Sunday. Atlas is working with Anita's husband Ben to establish a memorial fund and a permanent fitting tribute to these wonderful and much missed members of our rugby family.

Set up by Ben Nicholson in memory of his wife Anita and their two children Alex and Annabel who tragically lost their lives in the Sri Lanka bombings on Easter Sunday 2019.
OLD RUTS KENYA

We wanted to continue to support the amazing work the Lunch Bowl charity are doing in Kenya and especially with the many hundreds of children some orphans that benefit from taking part in playing rugby and look forward to having a nice hot meal!

The Richmond Heavies is the veteran’s side of Richmond Rugby Club in West London, one of the oldest clubs in the world and presently playing in the RFU Championship as the sole amateur club. Several recent unexpected bereavements of players have led to the creation of a charitable foundation to help protect senior and junior players at the club, as well as being able to help those immediately impacted, by a serious illness or bereavement.

The difference we make

From Argentina to Zimbabwe children from the poorest shanty towns and slums are given food, education and training, alongside the joy of playing rugby. Through this the kids we work with are learning and growing. They learn more, they stay away from drugs and crime, they become young leaders. In time they find jobs and become fine adults giving back to the next generation of children.
