Female Inspiration Through Rugby (FITR) is an initiative that the Atlas Foundation has supported since 2016. FITR focuses on supporting young women and girls aged 13-18 in Zimbabwe by inspiring them to participate in the sport of rugby. Not only are they provided a strong support system, but they also become more aware of sexual health and school drop out in their community. These young women can further benefit their community by sharing this information, which will in turn guide them to attain prosperous careers and ultimately empower the future generations.

The Girls Facilities Zimbabwe Project hopes to serve FITR by raising awareness and gaining support to build facilities, such as female changing rooms and an education centre at Harare Sports Club. At the moment, the young women and girls have no place for their personal affairs or a private learning environment, so it is vital to add these facilities which will further advance FITR's initiative.
